6 dial

Hi I'm trying to put the 6 clock thing into my 1.0 (the one with the tachometer) I was wondering what I need to do.
I know about the rev thing (I need to put in a wire to the gearbox sender?) and I was just wondering if I could take this wire out of my 1.3sr? also if there is anything else I need to do please let me know!

p.s. i may be changing the colour of the bulbs while I have the chance ;) ...blue?

for the rev thing u run a wire to YOUR COIL, not the gearbox, your thinking about a digital dash where you run the wires to the gearbox transducer for the speedo.

on your coil should be a green wire, take the tacho feed from that

is the wire already connected from the coil up to the dash then? so it should be take one out put new one in?

Just unhook the speedo cable and the multiplug from your old one and plug them into your new dash. The wiring for the rev counter is already in-place in MK-2's! Jobs a good un! ;)

didnt they have 4 dials and 2 round lights??

i have never seen sri/gsi clocks with 6 dials??

gsi had 6 dial
sr/sri had 4 dial white ringed

I have a GSi 6 dial fitted to my 1.4 sr. Had to conect one extra wire that was already there for the oil pressure.

the gsi clocks i had in my garage were only 4 dial???

and my brothers sri clocks "white ringed" were only 4 dial these both had the larger mk2 wireing plug

all the gsi/gte/mk1sr i've seen had 6 dial
4 dial/2 light were in mk2 sr/i and mk1 antibes
white ones in mk2 sr/i only
