changed a boot over for my friends bmw e36 linked up the hook for the solenoid but didnt hook up the catch i was in a rush cos it was pissing it down. now i cant open the boot ive stripped the rear of the interior and its solid i cant get in to pop it anyone got any ideas how i can get round this?:thumb:

Thats quite funny in a its not my problem kind of way. As for help, I haven't got a clue. However why not take a trip to a BMW dealerdhip and ask them. If anyone would know I guess they would. Good luck:)

hahaha yeah have thought about hacking it off lol but its a new replacement tailgate :( gonna take it to a garage tomorrow. was just seeing if anyone new a way around it

What about cutting a hole behind the number plate with a hole saw on a drill?,then tacking the cut out back in after you've sorted it:thumb:
