I'm just installing these now and i notice there is a gap between the fin part and the rest of the skirt.

photobucket is down right now so ill have to describe it

the end of the fin that the end of the rest of the skirt sits over is visible...the 20mm or so that doesnt have any lines in it if that makes sense

is that normal? im trawling through pix i have on my pc but cant make it out clearly on any of them

will post up pix asap

How are you fixing them to the car?
Are you sure they are butted right up to each edge of the arches.

When I fitted some to my SR with clips (riveted on) there was a gap between the two pieces but obviously they overlap anyway so I made do.

Yeah I've got the same problem, they overlap but theres still a small part where the recessed lines don't meet up, I think its a design fault.

That was about the same gap I had on mine I'm afraid.

There's nothing you can do if the both are right up against the edge at the arch end.

there is, you could take a chunk out the rear arch lol

lol typical!

Alternatively you could if you were being really fussy.
Extend the "score" marks onto the overlap part with a dremel etc... bit of a ball ache though.

what i might do is if someones bitched up a side skirt just cut as much as i need off it and epoxy it to the fin and fill/smooth it ;)

just found out my sills may have looked ok but they really arent when i went to do the bottom screws:(

I never bothered with screws in the bottom.

They never fell off or looked dodgy.
