Just been to protune to get my carbs rebalanced and throttle cable sorted. But they were mega busy so didnt get a new rolling road done. But they had to awesome vehicles there a ac cobra replica with a rover 3.5 litre v8 and a huge trike with anouther 3.5 litre v8. I spent the whole day there watching the guys work and in the end didnt pay for the work on my car. John the owner needed a red corsa polishing up (it was pink) and as iam a valater i said i would do it, he had some nice autoglym knocking about. So after that he told me he is moving away from protune and becoming mobile. Dont know if he will be able to come and balance me carbs when they need it so quite bad news:cry: anyway enough dribble here is last years prinout just after the rebuild. Probally abit more power now but i think the torque itself is impressive for a 1400 8v:D

Right rebuilt bottom end with new shells and arp rod bolts, 1600 skimmed ported polished head, newmann road/rally cam (bit lairy), matched irsmcher inlet manifold, rebuilt twin webber 40's (50's jets need 45,s) facet electronic fuel pump and regulator, full sportex system and 4-2-1 manifold and thats about it really theres abit more but cant remeber without getting the list out. Getting my suspension sorted now got 40 mm lowering springs and non adjustable billy suspension all round and have a omp strut brace coming tommorow. Car pulls really well iam proper chuffed with it. Hitting 16.4's at the pod so with new tryes and suspension i wanna get high 15's might be poss:wtf:

Nice power and torque there. Hoping mine makes something around that.

Benji ran 15s in his t40'd 1400. Was stripped out tho.

And thats my downfall, i really wanna make it a quick 1400 but i love my interior. I have it fully valated and its mint inside i could keep the interior and store it but i have no space. Funny as i have been offered some half leather cobra bucket seats at 200 quid.:wtf:
