id think you could get cross drilled bought cheaper??

also they might crack where they're drilled under high pressure

Yeah, you dont want to get your existing discs drilled. What brakes are they that you need to get them drilled, surely an upgrade to 256mm GSi brakes/288m V6 brakes should be on the cards if you are getting these existing ones that hot!!

Thanks chaps, Its a 288mm v6 setup that the car has at the front and the rear has a disc conversion too, It was more for the look than the performance of the brakes as I have no issue with this, sounds like it may be better to wait until new discs are needed then, Nick.

imho drilled discs look pap and dont really do much bar lose weight if youve got massive discs.... if they are drilled post casting then they are V likely to crack so not good either lol

That looks a tad french..???

We had a Saxo VTR that came into my work that had smashed. We found the cause of the crash in the rear axle, the disc had snapped and lodged itself in the caliper, causing the wheel to lock up and divert the course of the Saxo into a lamppost. He died.

Buy proper discs.....;)

Looks good though!

First thing that catches my eye on a top spec Porsche or Merc is usually the drilled discs...

Fook me that's a goodyin, never drilled solid discs before, in that happened.
I have drilled vented discs for the rally cars and seen temp drops of 120C, have drilled drums/backplates as well and seen decent temp reductions and not so much brake dust when removing drums for inspection.
