Change the tank and lines, but is there any wiring for the aside from the loom and ecu that mounts on the bulk head to run the engine?

One of the engine mounts is different for the 1.0 if i remember correctly.

Thats not an issue, what about the wiring?

you'll need the GTE loom, your converting single point/carb to multipoint injection, youd also need the relays for fuel pump etc thats on the GTE loom

Thats grand, i have all that here for it anyway. But the wiring to the Brain aside, i'm good to go then? Where does the fuel pump relay go, is it in the fuse box or all part of thr engines loom in the bay?

no it will be on the GTE loom, the relay actually clips onto the plate length of sheet metal that seperates the engine from the heater motor.

have you got all the gearbox and drive sorted? you should be able bolt the box, driveshafts, hubs from the GTE straight onto the 1 litre, you should have the 1600 brake setup too for extra braking

Aye alls there, even have spares at that as well. I think i know the relpy you're talking about, its pink iirc. So Stick all in, plug all in and get her fired up. Cheers Jon, big help!

not sure on the colour, but on my 1.4 its black lol i only know this because i had a carb dizzy on it so had to put the pump on a switch, sounds like your all ready to go apart from the wiring you've got to do, i suppose you could take the whole loom out of the GTE and put it in place of the wiring loom the other nova has ;)

I'm sure people have said on here in the past, that the ignition feed on a 1.0 has a built in resistance and needs to be replaced.

Never converted a 1.0 litre, only 1.2 and up so don't know myself for sure.

yeah you need to run the live to the coil from the back of the fuse box because the one on a 1.0 drops below 12v when cranking

:wtf:

Hows that done then? Where abous in the fuse box?

Either use an ignition live thats already there(in fusebox)
Or run a new one from the barrel.
