Hi,

I got into my car today and noticed a distinct pong that has finally overpowered the air freshener. The drivers side carpets are damp and I got mushrooms growing under the seat. Obviously a seal has gone somewhere - I dont think its rusted thru as it has only developed over the past few weeks and the rest of the car is perfect. Any points I should not before I take all the carpets and seats out?

Sunroof? Door seals? Windscreen? Floorpan (eek..lets hope not!!)

mine did this the other week. just took battery out, found everything o be ok there except for the rubber grommet behind battery which had moved a bit allowing water to enter the car when parked facing up a hill.

a bit of silicone sealent - job done no more water

then i used a sample of wierd cloth from max power live that just soaked all the water up

are the mushrooms magic???

Battery tray.

Removed all clutter, wire bruss+woolled the tray, vacum, dry , respray, silicon seal the little bastard hole..
