as i hadnt renewed my insurance within 7 days due to head being replaced they took away my no claims, i was furious as they then wanted ?1200 to insure a 1.4sr. after a 10 minute complain i got 2 no claims back (i lost one due to it being from my 50cc and being used over 2 years) and then wanted ?720 to insure it so i told em to piss off and went elsewhere and insured for ?400. anyone else had this problem?

while im in this section a lil advice for online insurance search engines such as confused.com etc- go on them at stupid hours like 3am and watch as you get cheap quotes, im 19 and they said between ?1800 and ?2200 for a r44 skyline (turbo one) at 19 years old!

why would the times change the quote??

you could ask for your no claims, then insure with them with the no claims you got back of them lol

Never had a problem with Direct Line.. I've been with them for 6 years now.
Why did you have to renew your car insurance within 7 days... normally its an automated service. Unless you cancel it they just take your money and carry on as normal.

Hang on - am I reading this right?

Your insurance expired. As you didn't renew it within 7 days of the expiry date, they took away your NCB?! Errrrrmmm.... :wtf:

Exactly what I thought.... smells more of fish than a very very fishy thing.
