if you make st georges day a public holiday, st davids day would have to be one in wales, st patrikkkks day in ireland and st andrews day in scotland. It'd get really complicated for business and therefor will never happen.

You see my arguement is this... why drink 4-5 pints when a few straight shots of vodka will have the same effect?

becuase 4-5 pints of beer will see you through the evening, where as 3 shots of voddy will go very fast and leave you wondering what to do for the rest of the time lol

As stuart said, its boring. You drink a few shots, that takes you about 10 seconds. What do you do the rest of the night while everyone else is enjoying themselves and drinking socially? More vodka?? Silly idea. Been there.

Kinda dry... well kinda not really... I'm quite happy to have the odd drink now and again (read as 3) but no more binge drinking for me.
