Went to buy a new set of alloys 2day. League Bandits, but they only did them in a 40mm offset. Will these fit the nova, or if not what kinda mods would be needed to fit them. I know the nova has a 49mm offset, but how much of a difference can u go with no problems?
cheers
Ian

the more diff the offset, the more probs u will have, if not with the scraping of arches, then with tyre wear, killing your shocks more, road handling, etc etc
u can get them machined down and take off some mm's to get nearer to 49mm

so u can get a 40mm offset machined to make it 49mm? No really sure how this offset thing works, anyone know how to explain it?

u can only machine a couple of mm off...taking near a centimeter off will weaken the wheel and make it dangerous...
if u ask Q like these mate, u need to state wheel size! lol

it wont weaken the whell unless you start to cut pat the mountsing face. most alloys have the same offset when they are made, and then they are machined down to get the desired offset
Dave Pearce, hmm he mixes like a man with no hands
