Hello I'm new, I came across this website whilst searching for a new alloy for
my vauxhall! just to let you know, i've been reading through and i was just wondering...how come most of the vauxhall novas are being broken up now?
fair enough you can make your money on them when they are modified however, the one's that are original are too. surely they may have life still in them? i've had mine since it was made, I still love it to pieces!
by the way i wasn't mocking anyone for saying it just wondered if anyone agreed?!:)

A rusty shell isn't worth much....but any desireable bits bolted to it do have value.

Welcome to the site matey.

Obviously it'd be nice to save every shell and restore them properly but sometimes it's just not economical to keep welding them up.

Plus a lot of people don't have the facility to strip their car down and work on it as it's their daily drive. Therefore it's easier and quicker to strip the good parts off and transfer onto a better shell.
