window problem

my mate has got this problem where when he winds his drivers side window down it gets stuck and he has to pull in down to carry on winding it down anyone know what could be causing this or how to sort it out

take the cover off & have a look at the runners & the linkage. it could be bent or seized. my dads car once had the glass come loose from the bottom runner & it didn't behave very well. we fixed it back in with carpet tape.

Is it 3 or 5 door? The 3 door has a diferent winder mechanism to a 5 door.

i had one where the rivots holding mech to the door were loose,try drilling old ones out and re-doing them and some silicone lube down the inside of the seals...

has anyone tried to bend the door back to try and break into it? if the have it may need bending right, or the runners might be damaged

lol Mine does that too. To wind the drivers side window down I need to wind with one hand and push on the back of the window with the other. Can't be bothered to fix it though.
