when i had my GTE i thought the ecotec valve did make a difference. But, u must understand its not a plug in and forget about device, i found i needed to ajust mine every few k miles!!

I've got one on my GTE. It takes out flat spots nicely, im not sure if it gives more BHP and i think the fuel is better, but i've never worked it out -i take their word for it. Sounds good though, like a wet fart when you close the throttle!

it adds more turbulence to the inlet charge of air. which then means you get a better more efficient burn, that means that you get more power (nominal ammounts) and its more economical. although a few people will come on now and say "how can you get better performance yet more economy?" face it engines have progressed a lot since the 20's and its the same progression going on now. more bang for yer pound!
