Manifold

How do i get the exhaust manifold off my mk2 1.2 carb nova? I have taken off the downpipe and unbolted the 8 bolts that bolt it to the cylinder head 4 at the top 4 at bottom. What else do i need to do to get it off? Thanks:thumb:

give it a clout

just knock around the top of the manifold with a rubber/wooden mallet if this fails jam a bar in it and stand on the thing :D lol

so have I definately taken all of the bolts off then?

theres more than 8 isnt there??i might be wrong,take the radiator off and check the bolts under the manifold.

With the downpipe removed off the exhaust system, and the 8 bolts removed out the manifold it should come straight off. I've never had one "stuck" on.

Yea its really stuck not even wobbling slightly so i think that there must be some more screws or something?!?!
