boost problems

can any one help me i've just put a c20let into my nova but it's not boosting i've cheaked the pipes and they a ok (i've been told it could be the acturator but not shore how it work or how to set it so please help)

what kind of boosting problem is it? last one i worked on that had a boost problem, the spark plugs had a gap of about 6 miles, closed the gap down to what they should have been and its ran fine since.

well i've been told it is my actuator the lad said that you shouldn't be able to pull the rod on the actuator by hand is this true

i' ve now ajusted the actuator a bit and the boost is better but is only showing 6-7 psi on my gauge but i've been told it should be boosting at about 14 with an eds phaese 1 chip so what do you think it could be as i'm now stuck for ideas
