x14xe to x16xe swap...

does anyone know if its as straight forward as just swapping them over? they look to be the same in every way so is the wiring loom the same, as in i would only have to change the lump and the ECU??

just interested to know, as my girlfriends corsa sport is flat as fcuk and i wanna liven it up a bit!! lol

im sure youll need the chip n emob gear to match the ecu-or just get the ecu reprogrammed to suit your key

yep, X16XE had the immob, its possible to get the ecu 'wiped' but costly

if you buy a X16XE make sure you have all the correct keys/transponder/ecu as its only 5 wires to connect iirc
