Scince iv just found this site I might as well get it all off my chest! My speedo's about 15-17mph out! its been like this scince i bought it bout 4 months ago, Ive got 15"Wheels(mo's) if thats any help? I remember when I put 16"'s on my old golf that sent the speedo funny but 17mph for 15" sounds a bit harsh, it also puts more miles on me clock than it should?

I have 15" MO's and my speedo is pretty much spot on compared to rolling road readings. When I read 95mph, some of my mates Nova's read a staggering 110mph! No wonder some people claim silly top speeds for their Novas.

Ickle footer! :P

Ive managed to get it sorted it seems when the lad who i bought the car off put in sum white lockwood dials he didnt put the needle back on correctly so i took the plastic casing off and drove behind my m8 doing 30mph it now works spot on so ill now have a good idea off what kind ov speed im doing! Ps. only had mo's bout 3 months and one of the compomotive stickers had ripped im gonna try an email them for a free set, have u had bother with this?

i was gonna say, if u put bigger wheels on it reads less than ur actual speed, which usually helps correct novas as they read high 10%+.

How the hell do u think mine managed to go off the clock a number of times with a 1.6 16v
