boot lite

I have gained a switch for the boot lite,and have got a lite also,I have clipped one end of the terminals into the loom thats in place for it, I know I need a wire from the switch,but does that wire also need earthing? or is part of the loom earthed or something?-I need help plz! I aint too good at guess work,thanks peeps in advance,I need to do so many small things now!

I want some 15"s!

For the "light" ;) to work, it has a positive feed, and a wire that goes from the light to the switch. When the boot opens, the switch makes the earth and the light turns on, so basically, the switch needs earthing, but I think it does this automatically using the bolt that holds it to the C-pillar.
