does anyone know how to allign the front of a mk1 wing?-mine is sticking out from the bodywork by about 5-9mm,hence sideskirts do not sit flush,it looks ok,but when it comes to skirts it doesnt,I thought that by tightening the lower bolts inside the car it would help it,but now I do not know!

I want some 15"s!

When i replaced mine they just bolt on and i dont think there is anyway to allign them apart from loosening it all off and giving it a bit of heave ho. Is something rusted out or has it been hit in the past?

bob,
take the wing off, and use a hammer on the section that bolts to the chassis, and runs down by the door hinges. Normally, it's this part that makes the wings stick out on pattern parts. Just keep re-fitting the wing, and seeing which bit hits the chassis first, then take a hammer to that bit, refit, etc., etc. until you're happy, then bolt it back on. I would wax the parts you hammer though!
