Which Engine

Hi guys need some advice what best engine to put in my nova got a 1 litre at mo want a little more power.2 litre would be nice but not praticle as eldest daughter will be learning to drive on it.So what do you guys surgest please

1200 5 speed

1400 SR or SRi engine, more then fast enough!

1.3 carb or 1.2

1.3/1.4 sr engines. easy to swap, pretty nippy for the litre size and low insurance group.

no point putting a 1.2 in there. waste of time for tthe gain imo.

Go with a 1300. As your replacing the engine it would be silly to put 1200 in there. The difference in insurance shouldn't be that much and there is a desent step up in performance.

1400 MPi engine - same insurance group as the 1.4 carb, but ~10bhp up in power at 82bhp.

Easiest would be 1300 engine tho
