where do i bleed the air from the coolant system? is there a nipple somewhere?
Remove the dash temperature sender from the inlet.
Then when coolant starts coming from the hole refit the sender.

where abouts does that blue wire go for the temp gauge on the inlet as i have found a bolt sort of looking thing on the first pipe of the inlet and i cant get the wire on as its a blade connector on the wire
What engine is it?
The temp sender has a spade top, which the blue wire clips over.

vauxhall engines are supposed to be self bleeding, if not leave the header tank cap off an run the engine until the fan kicks in.
ah you ment to bleed them?
what happens if you dont?
just been messing with my water system so wouldnt mind knowing.
take i can do as phil said and just run engine with cap off, not sure if my fan works tho PMSL lol

i just take the cap of and do it that way, im not sure if its going excellent cooling abilities, or if the fan sensor is intermitant as the fan only seems to stay on for around 10-20 seconds at a time, it doesn't overheat though?
Have to watch out doing it the cap off method.
As the coolant system will overheat and the coolant tank erupts coolant everywhere as the system's not pressurised with the cap off.
do they need bleeding then?
