1.3SR spares/repair

Ok, for sale is my 1.3SR, F plate, was serving me well untill last night when it started puffing out smoke. Got it home, and it now sounds like a tank, and has no coolent, so guessing its the head gasket.

Other than that, exhaust is blowing a bit, and takes a bit of a knack gettin it into 5th gear, but does go in. Passanger side rear arch rusting, has had some attention before, also some rust along bottom of boot, other than that, avrage condition for age. Front tyres nearly new, rears low. Inside is nice and tidy, no rips etc. MOT till may, has to go, would fix myself, but must make room for punto.

allright mate a freind of mine may be interested does it still run?? as we will have to drive it to south yorkshire lol but the car is to good to be broken id have it for parts for my sr but it would be a shame. but yea my mate might be intersested as long as it would run home well as near as possible lol

lol, well i have moved it from my drive to another parking space yesterday, started, but sounded like a tank, and was vibrating like a good un. One of the tyres is a little flat (on the alloys), but can wack a spare one on. (comes with one set of steelies, and one set of alloys)

mate, to get it in fifth with ease, push the gearstick, like you do for reverse, then put it to the right and up lol

i dont think the car would make it from milton keynes to yorkshire, you could tow it?

yeah, i got the knack of 5th after a few months, now fine. I really dont have anyway of moving it, my 8v punto isnt really a twoing car lol. thanks for the intrest anyway

yea i have that problem i wouldent tow it with my sr and its to far to chance it lol but it needs a good home!!!

well if youve still got it in like a month or so when i get payed by my new job ill come and get it for a few parts for my sr and ill prob fit a new engine i may keep it and drive it as it will be cheaper than my sr when its got a valver in or my gte. well i dont know i dont think my mum would like three novas out here again pmsl

right as i said before mate i start work monday so ill get payed in maybe one month but i may miss payday because i havent done a full month and get payed the month after if you have it still i will buy it then if you can save it but DONT scrap it lol please wb any how mate
