engine help....

what do i need to drop a 1.4 engine into a 1.2i.. my cam belts just snaped and it looks like i'll have to get a new engine, im gonna strip it down on the weekend and have a look... cheers for any help

dpeends if it's a carbed or injection engine. Keep th einjectiomn get a corsa sri engine or summit. Just as easy as ought else!

well he said 1.4 in a 1.2i, he didnt say 1.4i in a 1.2i. Makes sense wot i said. But yea if u get a MPi 1.4 u really just need throttle cable/f13 or f15 gearbox. Also. Id put a cav fuel pump in there. The 1.4 MPi runs a higher fuel pressure and it will shag ur pump!!
BTW, my local scrappy has an L-reg astra with a 1400MPi engine and f13 box/ Its the newer style with dizzypack (no coil).
