how do you weld up a sunroof void?

need to do mine as every nova iv had has had a sunroof
and now as i wanna progress in to motorsport need to get rid off sun roof.

Seriously.. just plate it i think. Or rivet and sealent.

if your not to bothered about how it looks id rivet a plate on and seal it if you are weld a plate in. ive just done mine (welded a plate in the hole) it was an absolute pain in the a**e, yhe roof nearly turn ed into rolf harris's wobble board.lol

buy a roofskin for it from any car body panel place

I was thinking about putting a skin on my roof but i think that would be more difficult than plateing it as you need to seperate the gutter seem in such a way that you could re-fold it, also i never actually found a place i could get one from.

nope just cut it to the edge on the top of the roof and spot weld it all the way round so you just got to fill the edges, then replace the headlining simple
