K&N ???

Im nearly finnished fitting my 2.0l 8v inot my sr shell. The engine I am fitting didn't have an air filter on it. I need an air filter and might as well put a performance one on there to give that extra bit of performance and nicer sound. I had a K&N bolt on on my 1.4sr engine which was quite nice. I want to know what peopl recomend for the 2.0l 8v, its a cavalier SRI engine. Do I need a 57i for a cav or will a GTE/GSI one fit ? or should I go for something different like Ram Air or Green ?

I don't think the cav one will fit. I think you looking at a nova gte/gsi one.

(and your engine isn't a cav sri or sri 130, it would kick both their arses!)

You will need a 57i kit.
Dont try to fit the nova ones, as they wont fit the engine, if they do, it wont be 100%.

Come this far, why cut corners now?!
