doorcard differance

notice differance in doorcards

on my mk2 nova van the dorcard went over the top of the metal panel at bottom of the window and around lock pins etc

on my mk2 merit+ it comes up to about an inch below window then stops (if you know what i meen)

do all door cards fit all doors ie mk1 mk2 etc or do i have mk1 doors on my mk2 and need mk1 door cards instead of gsi ones

all door cards fit all doors, there are just several different designs of them

ah right thank **** for that as i got my name down on a gsi interior with the overlapping doorcards lol cheers bud

The door cappings are a separate bit which cover up the metal section under the window (i.e. will fit along with poverty spec door cards)

Not sure how it is in vans, but sounds like they have the cappings as well?

so the doorcard i have is a normal doorcard and in mk2s there is a capping moulded on or just cliped on ?

Its just a separate piece, it has a lip that runs along the top (held in under the window rubbers) and bottom (held in under the door card top edge). No clipping or sticking required :D

So can you just pull the top piece off then? And it will be painted like it is on a SRi underneath?
