How many ECU types are there for XE's?
And what are they?

Quite a few.

Big differences are Late(Dispak) and Early(Dizzy)

yep there are quite a lot of different types, the dizzy / non dizzy ones cant be run on each other ect..

What have you got in total? IIRC it was complete? Any pics would also be useful.

No pics yet I'm afraid. Its almost complete - got engine, gearbox, exhaust, inlet - from what I can gather all I need is the SFi box, some wiring bits including ECU, and possibly a couple of bits of pipework...

I've picked up an Astra ECU cheap from ebay - if its not the right one I can always sell on. Just saw it as the auction ended and got it for pennies so thought I might as well :D
