This looks like it will be a weapon when finished, as above I think I need to read this from the beginning, I love the way everything has been done to a good standard rather than just trying to cram it all in. That turbo brace looks great too, did you make that up yourself?

Love how far forward your rad is...

Where have the Porsche brakes gone?

porsche brakes are on the back bench dew to need to use the £300 brackets cost, need money on other things on the build ,

The rad is about level where the bottom of the grill was , it's needed dew to the size of the turbo and manifold

is that the cost to buy brackets or have them made?

ive bought some Ally bar for £25, made a drawing and the guys at work are machining them for me. Not sure what the cost would be to pay someone to machine them but can't imagine it would be that much.

Nice build kev, could you have turned the compressor cover round to point it downwards to route the pipework. Seems like a huge space to be used just for the hose.

I did think of this but dew to the size of the down pipe it's would be tight plus I have ran the coolant pipes and oil breather pipe there to , I agree it would look much better tho

right small update ..
got a new thinking seat off my mate Darren ie the smokers corner lol

http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u64/kevster240/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20150331_085124.jpg (http://s165.photobucket.com/user/kevster240/media/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20150331_085124.jpg.html)

ive been takeing my time a bit so I took the week off work to get my ass in to gear .. I stared off by putting the fuel tank in and pumps in to work out the fittings I will need to get ..

http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u64/kevster240/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20150327_214220.jpg (http://s165.photobucket.com/user/kevster240/media/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20150327_214220.jpg.html)

thought that looked a bit like they were a little close together , but got a idea what fittings would be needed and routed it like this ,

http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u64/kevster240/Mobile%20Uploads/20150330_190052.jpg (http://s165.photobucket.com/user/kevster240/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20150330_190052.jpg.html)

but ran out of hose

kevster
04-04-15, 06:31 PM
so thought I you start to tackle the wiring lol it was a right mess ..

managed to work it all out and thought it would be better to fit it in the car before adding length to it .

http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u64/kevster240/Mobile%20Uploads/1427916670127.jpg (http://s165.photobucket.com/user/kevster240/media/Mobile%20Uploads/1427916670127.jpg.html)

that's the length added to the light loom lol I ran it on the new front cross member .. I had to cut the kms loom to on the air temp sencer and water temp , also the coil as im going to be using a vw one as it had a ignition driver built in un like the Vauxhall one.
ive not finished but this is how its looking so far..
