View Full Version : Swirl Pot (Fuel)
what i want to know is, where would you place a swirl pot? Before OR after the fuel pump? Or doesnt it matter?
found the answer now, goes before fuel pump :D
anyone know inside diameter of nova fuel lines? IIRC there 8mm arnt they?
All std injection tanks have a swirl pot built it.
Unless your using a carb tank for some reason.

i will be using a carb tank, as ive fitted one to the nova about 6 months and its brand new, so id rather not waste it
Ahh right.
Yeh you want the pot before the pump so the pump has a small reserve of fuel to pump from. After the pump would mean the pump would get starved of fuel when cornering hard etc.

i know yeah lol i asked a few people some qeustions about it last night, but trying to track down a swirl pot with 8mm ID inlet and outlet is proving to be a right biatch!!
ive also been told that ill need a low pressure pump to fill the swirl pot and a normal pump to fuel the engine :S
The tank side of the pump is low pressure.....
