I have been offered a 1.4 head will it fit on my Sport and will I need a different manifold for my twin 40's, will it improve performance???

should do as my m8 haz a 1.6 head on a 1.3 block not much faster though!

The 1.4 is the worst head out of the lot and it ain't gonna help you none. The 1.3 is one of the best heads.
It would be a definite step in the wrong direction - no bullshit.

As CP says, the 1.4 head is the worst Nova head for performance...pore flow etc.

Also as CP said, the Sport is a collectors item, so keep it as standard as possible!

it should be the other way round 1.3 head on 1.4 thats wat ive done anyway if ur still not sure giv bill byldenstein a call as i got my 1.3b+ head off him and its on a 1.4 block, and thats wat he recommended:)

They're right about the head. the 1.3 or even 1.2 heads are better.

OMHO though. Do what you like to the car after all it is yours. I mean ltd edition scooby's get rolled (trax) and people even race very ltd edition ferrari F40's. An dthe mods they make aren't nice (crash).

So you modifying your car how you want shouldn't be a problem. Only with the die hard PNG members.

Just make sure you keep all the original parts.

P.S. I'd love to see pics of your car with this 155db install in. it looked pretty bare at the pod lol.

sport = fancy graphics 40s and red exhaust
spider = no roof
sprint = 1.3i engine and wide arch (yellow :p)

so start off with a spider fit the sprint wide arch kit and top off with sport graphics

sport = 40's if you could be bothered to fit 'em.....some peeps didn't, so instead ran the Pierburg 1B1 :O (wanted the looks but with the economy of the 1B1...mental people!)

Still no ideas what a Nova De Luxe is??? (here's an old ad for one for sale: http://www.novabug.co.uk/AdOne.jpg )
See the C-reg 1.2L 5-door below it for ?4750 :O

the 40s were supplyed in the boot when the car arrived at the dealers

as for the nova de luxe ring the number and ask!!!
