hey boyz can any 1 tell me the truth!!? is it true that u only hav 2 alter the bottom engine mounts 4 the 2.0 16v as i got the red top gsi 1? and is the conversion realy hard as i converted my 1.3sr 2 a gte so is it harder by much? i just need 2 know the lot b 4 i go ahead!! like wat drive shafts etc!! and is the red gsi engine got more bhp than a standard rocker coloured 1? cheerz!!!

I have only got one of the front engine mounts for my conversion I am doing, apparently you can sort the rest with lots of washers etc..
Not sure about the power output etc. other than the coscast 2.0 16v had about 156bhp and the GM one had abou 150bhp roughly.

2.0 16v on its way soon!!!! :D

The Red-top GSi engine? I gather you mean Cav GSi, or do you mean Astra GSi?
I know that the early Cav GSi had 156PS.

The later 2.0 16V (ECOTEC-4) with the straight top cover (grey-top), only had 136PS.

they did an eco badged engine with an L shaped cover and that was 150bhp

16v Nova - Toolkit, Trouble, Points and great expence all come as standard :)

yea i believe it came from a astra? it has a red rocker? and duz n e 1 know of any 2.0 fittin guides as i swear i saw 1 ages ago!

Get the carquip engine mount and gearbox mount adapters and you'll be sorted.
