Cam advice

Hi there everyone.

Right, i Should be getting a Nova GTE pretty soon, after selling my 1.3sr a while back.

Im just wandering when it comes to Cams, what would be the best Cam to use.

Depends what you want the engine to do, standard are ok for a daily driver.

i mean yea im a daily driver, but i dont drive all that slow either, just want that slight increase, enough to notice anyway.

I had a Kent Fast Road Cam in my 1.3sr.

If you stick with the std gte management, the kent nvo series are good. Still keep nice driveability etc.

So with the Kent nvo series, what sort of increase is expected?and how much of a difference will i feel?

Probably get 5ish bhp increase.
The gain wont be huge as its quite a mild cam.
Anything more will cause the afm to act strangely.

Anyway of getting round that? cause people do use less milder cams than that dont they!
