I have recently bought a set of speedline minstrals
and they look brilliant, but the only thing is it shakes the car to pieces,
does anyone know where i can spigot rings from for these as the alloy centres
round here said they cant get any for those wheels.
Can anyone help please?

make sure all the bolts are tight 1st and check the tyre wear to see if its wearing more on one side, this affects the balancing of the wheels, also get them balanced that could help.

i never get why you need spigot rings as the wheel bolts are tapered so centering the alloy on the hub.

i have had all the wheels balanced and the problem is still there,
i have alloys before without spigot rings and i had the same problem then.

hi mate, ive just bought a set of speedlines, they have to be balanced right for them not to shake, but even when mine are they wobble abit

goto any aftermarket wheel place for some spigot rings, they should be able to sort you out and it should sort out your problem so long as you know that the wheel are not buckled and tyres are balanced correctly.

You shouldnt need them tbh... what PCD/offset are they?

I'd also say buckled.

My gf parked my SR on a tesco car park curb once.
She mounted it straight on at a fairly low speed and buckled both of the front 3 spokes.

so i guess there is no specific shop for speedline parts then!
they could well be buckled i suppose, but didnt pay much for them anyway,
ill see what i can do but the normal alloy centres here havent even heard of speedlines lol what a joke

Local farbricator/machine shop should be able to make you up some.
My brother had a quote of ?8 a corner I think so he could fit supalights to his MK1 GTI golf.
