Top tip for matrix pipes ....

Get a flexi 'kitchen tap' braided pipe, remove the heater matrix & join the braided pipe to it, then just fit a small length of copper pipe to the flexi pipe so you can clamp a rubber hose to it.
Job done !!

You need bend the clutch cable metal exit so it clears the inlet too.

yeah , stick a bar in the hole that the clutch cable exits from and angle it down and right (5 o clock ish) so that it clears

rich got any close up pics of that pipe , might be shoving a larger lump in mine soon so could come in handy :thumb:

Nah aint got any other pics, its just a water pipe thats used to connect your kitchen tap to the water mains, i had to file the pipe that comes off the matrix down so the pipe & olive would fit on, you've also gotta chop a larger hole in the plastic housing for the new pipe to fit thru, then fit a bit of (16mm) copper pipe on the other end so you can clamp a bit of hose to it.
Pretty straight forward job really, think the pipe cost about ?7.50 !!

Joff has done the same mod to his heater matrix - looks like a good idea
