F10 to F13 gear selector.

well after playing about with the gear linkages and not having much joy, i looked at the gear selector on the top of the gear box in my nova, has a lot of play on the selector pivot.

what i want to know is can i take the selector off my sr gear box and put it on my gsi one?

It has a bush/bearing on it where it enters the box.
It will have a bit of play before it moves the release bearing.

It shouldn't have any play side to side tho.
