release bearing

the release bearing seems to be gone in my car (i think)..i wanted to ask how big a job it is to get it fixed?my shoulder is broken trying to get the car into first gear.its absolutely perfect after that though.

cant be your release bearing then can it if its fine for all the other gears, sounds more like a worn selector

well i say perfet but its easier to get it into other gears when you eventually get it into first if ya know what i mean?so you think it ould be something else?

Gearboxes are cheap enough to just throw another one in rather than trying to fix your current one.
