What are the best spark plugs to get for my standard 1.6 GTE?

There are so many types available are any better than others or should I just go for standard NGKs?

Thanks :)

Dont use Champion spark plugs, I've found that some of them don't last as long as others. The standard NGK equivalents to Champion RN7YCC(0.8mm gap)/RN7YC (0.7mm gap) plugs are a safe bet.

Champion are the opposite of their name sake.

NGK BPR7ES Gap to .8mm IIRC (important)

What's the difference with the 0.7 and 0.8mm versions?

Thanks guys.

i had the NGKs in my gsi, not gte mind you but thay didnt last that long and made it a bit lumpy when in 4th doing 30, so tryed the denso's from my local motor factors for 8quid for the 4 and it runs much better.

Just use std ngk's(?5 a set)
Gap them to 0.7(they should be set to that when made, but worth checking before fitting.

Dont bother with these "performance" spark plugs that do fook all and cost 4times the price.
