xe problem

i am rebuild ing my xe which i bought, the engine is coil pack but the loom looks to me it must be a distributer type cause the loom looks good for the engine but the ecu dont plug into the loom the loom has on the plug which goes into the ecu a notch in the middle and on the ecu the notch is to the side a little bit any ideas lads cheers

You will need a dispak loom, as early and late xe's used different management.
