From all my previous post I think I've let u all know that I wanna upgrade my seats!
I am looking to fit Cobra Daytona's, which are on my immenent buy list.

My question is will they fit in the Nova??
I ask this, cos I dont have my Nova to measure up the existing GSi seats in there.

The Daytona's measure up 540mm near the legs in width, and 590mm around the shoulder section. (375mm for the actual body).
(these are slightly wider than the Cobra Sidewinder, by 20mm)

Will the doors close properly without having to cut away bits of the doorcard and fixings etc?
Can anybody shed light on the amount of room available in the Nova, PLEASE?

I appreciate any help. Thanx

ring cobra and ask if they make a tailored subframe to fit them seats into a nova

if they do then they shud fit
if they do and they dont fit then tell em and complain

They do the tailored subframes.
David P was telling me that he knew some1 that had Sidewinders, but had to cut away some of the inner door pocket (or something) to shut the door!

So I am confused!! ...I dont want the hassle afterwards of complaining etc... just want everthing to click into place (lazy!)

If its any help, I recently fitted Cobra Monaco's which go in nicely on the original tracks. They are only a few mm. from the plastic pouch bit that sticks out off the bottom of the door card (1.4 SR trim) but no practical probs whatsoever have been encountered ( except the bastard straps adjust themselves loose all the time when not actually in use which is a fookin nuisancex-( )
