I know that the things that make mk2's different when it comes to metal bodywork is the front wings. Will the mk2 wings go straight on a mk1 and are there any other differences, apart from the obvious (headlights, grille, bumpers etc)

lol....good old ste!

The doors have different holes too for the different door trims/panels. I had to drill extra holes along the bottom of my new driver's door 'cos it came from a MKII and my original MKI door cards wouldn't fit....no holes for the panel pins to clips in to.
Nothing to do with the wings though!

As far as I'm aware, the MKII wings just bolt straight on in place of the MKI ones, but I've not done it (don't want my class MKI looking like a shitty MKII :p )

the older mk1`s will need extra holes drilled in the front pannel for the bolt needed under the headlight on the mk2 wing.

the older mk1 novas havent got the outside 2 holes in the slam pannel for all ov the mk2 grills clips.
