valve collets

i snapped some cam followers the otherday and got a valve compensator tool to replace followers.and have now realised 2 collets have jumped out somehow but from 2 different valves is there anyway i can get these collets back in with just the valve compensator tool?

valve compensator tool?? is that a valve compressor?, just compress the valve and push the collet back in

no valve compensator u can use to remove followers without removing cam or head

Its a head off job, and a valve spring compressor to refit the collets.
The valve compensator tool opens the valves, it doesn't compress the spring.

yer i stripped head down today and spent a fortune :( thanx for help tho
