Tried to take off my bottom arms lastnight to get the driveshafts out but 3 of the nuts are rounded underneath, what is the best way to get these nuts out? I'm thinking of using a grinder to take the heads of the nuts off and then just hammer them out.
Any other ideas???
that sounds like the bst plan to me but then i am fond of my grinder lol

1 off, 1 to go lol
can i ask why u have taken the bottom arms off to take the drive shafts off, u only need to undo the 30mm drive shaft nut off, ball join at the bottom of the hub. 2 nuts at teh top of the suspension, job done
You dont even need touch the 2bolts that hold the strut on.
Just the bottom balljoint clamp bolt, and 30mm hut nut.
just i found it easyer to rock the whole sus and hub with the 2 bolts undone
lo,l i can get a shaft out just removing the track rod and undoing the strut.
You need a crowbar though lol

When I had to change a shaft I just undid the bolt holding the balljoint on, took the balljoint out and turned the suspension to full lock :).
(plus the obvious castle nut on the end of the shaft, releasing the inner cv circlip etc..)
