ontop of the carb you'll see some flat screws pretty much level with the top of the carb, turn the engine on, and one of those adjusts the fuel, i think the one on the right??
The screws inside the top of the carb are the Jets.
Idle screw must be on the side somewhere.
A garage can easily set the carb up for you for about ?20 on a exhaust analyser.

yes the idle jet, the one on the side would adjust the position of the linkage and theres sometimes one on the side under a plastic cover, i dont remember this being the idle adjustment?
That screw just holds the idle jet assembly into the carb.
Turning it will just loosen/tighten the idle jet, it wont change the idle mix.
Looking at old pics of my 32/34, im pretty sure the idle speed is on the back of the carb.
And idle mix is on the right hand side.
Looking from the slam panel.

the idle is on the backleft handside of the carb, and the mixture is on the right hand side of the carb towards the rear, and is sunken into the carb. (Stood from the slam panel)
