wiper problem

well, ive had my sri for a month or two now, and everytime i drive it recently the drivers wiper just stops workin, i found the problem, the ball joint on the arm undoes, was just wondering if this is common? and is there anyway to fix it?, screw/glue/cable tie, thanks alot

I have had similar experiences with the same problem but on a Cav. The bar that clips onto the ball joint then to the rest of the mechanism was worn. In the end no matter what I did, it would go back to square one.

So I just bought a new linkage set cost me somewhere in the region of 25quid from vaux (long time ago tho)

Now it works a treat

yer this is common happened to both my novas cable ties do work but obviosly replacment is best idea.if u do use cable ties carry spares ;)
