bumper number plate recess

HELP obviously you can only plastic weld with the same plastic blah blah blah right ive seen a few pictures of novas on here with a recess in the bumper, i wanna do this to! what recess have people used? 106 maybe?

i know people that used a renault clio recess, looks great

A MkII Golf number plate recess works well too. it looks right at home in a GSi back bumper

no recess used on my old sri, just modded back bumper

that is a recess, just home made one

nope, nothing made, just cut the bumper....

just found some thing else i can have a go at but hows it done :confused:

cut out the recess mate. then cut the hole in the nova bumper use a soldering iron to melt/bond it together (plastic welding) ang go from there just remember you might have to modify the back bar
