as above, most cost effective, average power gains, noise etc
TBs - Expensive as ****, more economical, better noise (IMHO)
Carbs - cheaper, drink fuel like ****!

hmm so pickin up a set of t45s second hand would be ideal after service and RR setup?
Dont be fooled by how cheap carbs do seem 2nd hand.
After factoring in prices on inlets, linkages, throttle cables, ign setups, jet/choke changes, fuel system changes, rolling road setup etc
the price soon adds up.
You can get a complete TB setup for a xe, with ecu etc, ready to bolt on for around ?1200 2nd hand.
The total cost of carbs wouldn't be too far off that tbh.
