Dont be fooled by how cheap carbs do seem 2nd hand.

After factoring in prices on inlets, linkages, throttle cables, ign setups, jet/choke changes, fuel system changes, rolling road setup etc
the price soon adds up.

You can get a complete TB setup for a xe, with ecu etc, ready to bolt on for around ?1200 2nd hand.

The total cost of carbs wouldn't be too far off that tbh.
