Rear Wiper Switch

I fitted a Cav wiper stalk a while back. It was off a hatchback Cav so the stalk can control front wipers & jets and rear wiper and jet.

I got the fronts working quite easily. had to cut the wirring plug as the connections were located differently to the Nova stalk. I now want to connect the Nova rear wiper switch which is down by the fog lamp switch to the wiper stalk as its not in the best position for ergonomics.

Does anyone know where the wires from the original switch correspond to on the Cav wiper stalk?

Has anyone done this?

What you should have done is got the wiring plugs with a good 6 inches of wire on them at the same time, then you could have just soldered them in color for color.

Well that was another option but it would have taken much longer and tbh im not going to be removing the plug.

What Im asking is if anyone knows which wires off the rear wiper switch correspond to the connections on the wiper stalk.

If no one has done this then its trial and error time :)

and which cav were they off? i got some off an astra and they were a plug and play fitment

Cav MK3 K reg Hatchback.

Had alot of pins on the stalk.

Trial and error it is.
