Well, i was going to re-bore out my 1.6 8V but it seems that it could be more trouble than it's worth. So, whats needed to fit a 1.6 16v? is it big block? will i need to change engine mounts, driveshafts etc etc? i just don't have the skill/money for that. I know it would need wire loom made and Exhaust manifold. Any advice please!!! Thanks

Small block, uses std mounts etc... Just buy the engine, chuck it in, wire it up and you're away :)
PS: I aint a mechanic by any stretch of the imagination but i think the above is more or less true!!!

Pretty quick too, better than a shitty 8v GTE engine :) Don't think I'd bother with a GTE no mo', depends how cheap u can find a 1600 16v tho i spose innnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnit
