the price depends on how good the engine is, for the conversion all you need is the 1.4 throttle cable, the piping for the autochoke and the module loom, which is just to wire the distributor and coil, the exhaust will flow better but isn't essential

no you just need the piping for the autochoke, the autochoke goes into the heater matrix pipes (the small ones to the little radiator in the car) using t-pieces, i had to cut mine a little but it went on ok :)
The 1.2 manifold/downpipe will fit the 1.4 engine.
But the 1.4 one is much better, but that will mean having to fit a 1.4 system too.
best bet would be a hybrid engine build before putting it in.1.4 botten 1.2 head and 1.3 inlet manafold with 32/34 carb.then GTE cam. should match a GTE there abouts. most parts are easy to pickup.

could i get that type performance just by putting twin 40s on it and a 1.4 ashley manifold and system
T40s on a 1.2, with manifold and system would probably give Sr power if not a bit more yeah.

i did that, can't remember what carb the 32/34 is but i put a 1.6 on mine, the only difference is mine was port polished and had a 1.4 cam, and it went very well, it was faster than a mates GTE, and kept up with a mates 1.4 injection with a lightened flywheel and lightened bottom end ;)
oh keeping in mind a few months later the you could get in the GTE, put it in first, put your foot to the floor and it'd accelerate like it was in fourth till it hit about 3000RPM, it inevitably got scrapped lol
