my brakes are spongy, iv fitted a new master cylinder, skimmed the front discs, new pads adjusted the rear brakes, pressure bleed the whole systwm and replace the servo vacuum pipe cos that was leaking, no air in the system or leaks yet my pedal goes hard when not running but start it up and it nearly goes all the way to the floor but then you can lock the wheels, iv fitted a 1.6 servo,

are the pin's that go from the servo to the master all the same from an sr to a 1.6

Are the calipers the right way up?
Bleed nipples at the top?

if they aint you will never be able bleed them right.

Also if you have been messing around with the caliper piston, you can turn the master cylinder seals inside out...

Try locking off 3 flexi's and bleed the fourth on it's own, do this to all corners, try pedal between each corner.
try locking off fluid to rear brakes, bleed the fronts and vice versa.

And always bleed furthers away from the master cylinder first
